Volunteering at an Australian University Sport (AUS) event presents an opportunity to work alongside sport and event management professionals. Stand out from the crowd by developing new skills and acquiring real world experience. Internship and Games time volunteer positions also provide an opportunity to make new friends, achieve personal satisfaction and most importantly have fun.
As a Volunteer you will:
- Receive industry relevant training on a large scale multisport event
- Be mentored by AUS staff
- Make industry contacts
- Build your resume with quality work experience
As a Volunteer for the Games you will also receive:
- Free access to the social program, including the Closing Ceremony
- Ticket to the volunteer thank you party
- Uniform shirt to keep
- All catering provided across the event delivery period
There are a number of intership opportunities available in the below functional areas. Generally, interns are required to commit to one day per week in the lead up to the Northern University Games, then full time for the games week (Sunday 2 July - Thursday 6 July).
